Sunday 29 June 2025 Festive concert Amici Cantus in Den Hoorn – 600 years of church building On the occasion of the 600th anniversary of the church building in Den Hoorn, the Texel choir Amici Cantus, led by Lida Wels, will give a special concert on Sunday 29 June. The programme offers a varied selection of religious and secular music, from around 1425 to the present. Hoornder kerkje
The most engraved church on the island is undisputed: the Hoornder church. Unlike other churches, this church is located just outside the village, with a beautiful Texel landscape surrounding it. Wedding location The church is a popular location to get married. Many couples fall for the charm of the church. Curious whether it could also be a wedding location for you? The church is open weekly in the summer. Summer evening concerts The acoustics in this church make the space extremely suitable for musical performances.
