Seal tours with boat De Vrijheid
A cruise on the Vrijheid is a true experience! Feel the wind in your hair, breathe the salty air, and the skipper will take you to a unique sandbank where you can spot seals. The trip lasts 1.5 hours, and along the way, you'll enjoy the skipper's fascinating stories and the vastness of the Wadden Sea. The Vrijheid offers plenty of comfortable seating, both outdoors and indoors in a heated area. There is a toilet on board. The shallow draft of this new ship guarantees seal sightings. Cruise times: Between March and November, trips run almost daily, weather permitting. During the winter months, there are several trips per week. Check the calendar for dates and times. Prices: Adults €30.00, children aged 1 to 5 €19.50. Dogs are permitted in limited numbers, please contact us and they are free of charge. A minimum number of participants is required for this excursion. If there are too few participants or the weather is bad, you'll be notified in advance whether the excursion can go ahead. Please ensure you arrive at the departure location on time (15 minutes before departure). If there are too few participants or the weather is bad, you will be notified in advance whether the tour can go ahead. Dogs are permitted only upon consultation and in limited numbers, and are free of charge. Unfortunately, guests who are wheelchair-bound cannot board.

De zeehonden zien in hun natuurlijke habitat
Wat ontzettend fijn om te horen dat jullie zo’n mooie tocht hebben gehad! Juist met een beetje wind en het ruige water laat de natuur zich van haar meest indrukwekkende kant zien, en het blijft magisch om de zeehonden van zo dichtbij in hun eigen leefomgeving te bewonderen. Heel graag gedaan, mooi dat de verhalen in de smaak vielen en wie weet tot een volgende keer op het water!

Informatief en veel dolfijnen gespot!
Fijn dat de tocht en de uitleg zo goed zijn bevallen en dat jullie volop zeehonden hebben gezien! Dolfijnen komen we hier eigenlijk niet tegen; de kans is groot dat het onze inheemse bruinvissen waren, wat net zo'n prachtige waarneming is. Bedankt voor de mooie beoordeling!

The comfortable ship offers you every opportunity to take beautiful photos of the seals and fully enjoy the natural environment. Skyline of Texel Experience the freedom on the water, enjoy the fantastic view and the fresh sea breeze. From the top deck of the 15 meter long ship you have a beautiful view of the Texel skyline. The boat trip takes about an hour and is suitable for a maximum of 12 people. Our boat trips start from the harbor in Oudeschild. Reservations are necessary.
