Memorial meeting
Monday, May 4, 2026 The annual Remembrance Service will take place in De Burght. This will be followed by a silent procession to the General Cemetery. After a tour of the cemetery's monuments (the Georgian Tree of Life and the Cross of Sacrifice), two minutes of silence will be observed at 8:00 PM. Finally, wreaths and flowers will be laid at the Good Shepherd monument. You are cordially invited to attend the Remembrance Service in De Burght.

The meeting in the church can be seen via www.kerkdienstgemist.nl (Protestant Congregation Den Burg Texel), Texel Kijken en Luisteren' films at the cemetery.
