Saturday, March 28, 2026 Texelpop 2026 will be held at the Evenementenhal Texel. This will be the third year in a row that the pop festival has been held there. Texelpop has a long history. It was first held in 1980, in the old music hall in the Wezentuin. It subsequently moved to several venues, such as De Lindeboom/Question Plaza, De Koninghal, Ons Genoegen, and the swimming pool, and now, it's at the Evenementenhal. The organizing committee, Texelse Muziekpodia (TEMPO), is collaborating with De Krim Texel, which is facilitating the event. The format will be largely the same as last year. TEMPO invites the bands, determines the program, and acts as the liaison between the bands and the sound engineers, etc. Texel bands can register until January 31st by sending an email to texelpop@gmail.com.
