From October 14 to 30, 2025 Exhibition at De Vermaning in Den Hoorn by four women who call themselves the Four World Wives. Colorful artworks made of wool, paintings, and ceramics will be on display. Ulrike Reska, ceramicist, Ton-Art, mobiles of wool and porcelain, mostly in natural colors. Judith Razoux, painter and ceramicist, working with wool. Christien Hellinga, ceramicist, wool and raku with natural materials. Magda Brommersma, painter in a colorful palette. Location: De Vermaning, Diek 11a, Den Hoorn Time: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

This church is well hidden: from the road you have no idea that there is a church on Diek. This is due to its history, De Vermaning was built as a hidden church for the Mennonite congregation. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
