Saturday, April 19, 2025 Promising cover band Fanclub takes musical steps. Since its foundation in 2023, cover band Fanclub has developed into an energetic and versatile group of musicians in just over a year. Performances at Texelpop and the Buitengewoon music festival, among others, showed that the band knows how to captivate the audience with their enthusiasm and broad repertoire. The five band members have gained their experience in various bands and choirs, and that can be heard in their strong interplay. With a varied setlist, consisting of classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s, supplemented with contemporary pop and rock songs, they bring recognizable and compelling music. Fanclub consists of Marja Dros (keyboards and vocals), Simon van der Geest (lead guitar), Hein Dijt (bass), Peter Huisman (vocals and harmonica) and Siebe Waaier (drums). Together they work on an increasingly solid sound and a growing group of music lovers who know where to find their performances.
