Hoge Berg Loop
Sunday, April 26, 2026 The Hoge Berg Loop is a recreational run through the more than one hundred thousand year old heart of Texel: the Hoge Berg. A beautiful area with garden walls, sheep, and sheep pens. The start and finish are on the synthetic track at the clubhouse of Atletiekvereniging Texel, located behind the football canteen at Haffelderweg 48 in Den Burg. Youth up to and including 5 years old run 400 meters, youth from 6 to 8 years old run 800 meters, and youth from 9 to 15 years old run 1200 meters on the track. The laps around the Hoge Berg are 5.6 and 7.5 km. Times: youth start 10:30 AM. Start for persons 16 years and older 11:00 AM. Rate: youth up to and including 15 years €2 and from 16 years €5. Registration: at the clubhouse (Haffelderweg 48) from 10:00 AM that morning.
