The singing house, song art and musical stories
Serena Jansen is a classically trained singer. She enthusiastically sings old Italian songs, playing a small accordion as if she were sitting in a Roman square. She feels completely at home in Italy, having a grandfather who hails from there. With her powerful voice, she captures many hearts. This afternoon, her repertoire also includes Italian and other Christmas carols. Marjan Boontjes will share musical stories. De Vermaning Den Hoorn
This church is well hidden: from the road you have no idea that there is a church on Diek. This is due to its history, De Vermaning was built as a hidden church for the Mennonite congregation. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
