Concert wind ensemble Nieuwe Maten
Sunday, June 18, 2023 The wind ensemble Nieuwe Maten from the Zaan region gives a concert on Texel for the 9th time! The musical direction is in the hands of Herman Draaisma, (bass) clarinetist of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. The line-up consists of: Rieneke Weber and Else Schaaij (flute), Ikina van der Aar and Andre Beens (oboe), Ella Broekstra and Annemiek Vloon (clarinet), Arjan sas and Ronald Bakker (horn) and Boukje Jonkheer and Martin Jansen (bassoon) ). Programme: Beethoven - Sonata Op. 101 and Bird - Suite in D and Elgar - Serenade in E minor. Time: 4 p.m. Admission is free, with a collection afterwards.
