Saturday, November 14, 2026 Sinterklaas and his helpers will arrive on Texel today at 12:30 PM. This will take place during the Sinterklaas arrival procession at the harbor of Oudeschild. The Sint en Piet Texel Foundation, which organizes the arrival procession, is happy to make it a wonderful celebration for all children and (grand)parents. Sinterklaas and his helpers will arrive at the quay near the harbor office and At Sea. They will be given a musical welcome by the Pietenband. Following this will be the arrival procession of Sinterklaas in Den Burg on Saturday afternoon. It begins at 2:00 PM with a tour of Den Burg. The tour will take you along Ada van Hollandstraat (if accessible), Keesomlaan, Elemert, Parkstraat, Weverstraat, Stenenplaats, Hogerstraat, Gasthuisstraat, De Zes, Burgerhoutstraat, Waalderstraat, Stenenplaats, Binnenburg, and Groeneplaats. At around 2:45 PM, Sinterklaas and his helpers will head to the Glass Palace, where the Pietenband will perform again. Children will be at the front, and parents can stand a bit further back in the park so the children can see everything clearly. Sinterklaas has already sent a request to Texel: he would like to receive children's homemade drawings.
