Saturday, November 15, 2025 On November 15, Texel will be the radiant center of attention for the national arrival of Sinterklaas. The steamboat will dock in the harbor of Oudeschild that day, where the saint will receive a festive welcome. Texel will play a prominent role in the popular Sinterklaas news program surrounding the arrival. Broadcasts begin Monday, November 10, and run until Friday, December 5. Merel Westrik will present the TV program, just like last year, and Stephanie van Eer will report from the quay during the arrival.
