Do you want to experience Texel's nature in a special way? Join the Jan Plezier! Take a nature tour in the nostalgic covered wagon through the dunes, over the beach, through the forest or go along to the Muy and the Slufter. Nature is beautiful in every season. Hear stories from the coachman about the island's customs, tradition, history and rich wildlife. Facilities have been made on the covered wagon for the disabled and people in wheelchairs. For example, an easy step has been made and a fold-out ramp plate. Wheelchairs are also secured. Start times: at 10 am and 2 pm. During the Christmas holidays there are daily winter rides (except New Year's Day) from 11 am to 2 pm. The tour takes approximately two and a half to three hours. With the Jan Plezier Texel you can make a covered wagon tour from De Koog through a number of beautiful nature reserves on Texel. Nature tours through national park “Dunes of Texel” The covered wagon ride takes three hours and during this trip you can enjoy the animals and plants that live in the dune landscape and in the various nature reserves.
