Youth theater performance at Ecomare
Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 February 2024 'Under the Waves' is a theater performance for children of primary school age. Empathize with Krijn, a child who lived in Doggerland about 10,000 years ago. Nowadays Doggerland lies at the bottom of the North Sea. It has disappeared beneath the waves. Time: the performance lasts just over half an hour and is given at 10, 11.45 and 1.30 pm. Costs: admission is free for visitors to Ecomare, but just collect a (free) entrance ticket at reception.

A short distance outside De Koog in the dunes near paal 17, you will find the nature museum and seal sanctuary Ecomare. seals If you want to see a seal up close, this is possible in Ecomare. The seals are fed at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. During the feeding, everything is told about the seals that live in Ecomare. You can also admire other sea creatures in Ecomare.
