Experience the craft of metalworking during this fun, creative workshop! Jacqueline Jimmink, a skilled craftswoman and master engraver, offers metalworking workshops for both groups and individuals. During this workshop, you'll work with fire, color, and metal just as the masters used to. By drilling, sawing, cutting, filing, bending, enameling, and engraving precious and non-precious metals, you'll create the most original creations. This program is challenging for everyone and is adapted to the skill level of each participant. Afterward, you can take your masterpiece home with you. The event will take place at the JMJ Ambachtsatelier. Vogelenzang 19, 1791 EZ Den Burg. The metal staircase leads up to the right of the entrance to the JUMBO supermarket. Parking is free without a Texel sticker and with a parking disc, for a maximum of 2 hours. Advice: come without a car, on foot, by bike, or park your car in a spot with no parking restrictions.

The workshop is led by artist, craftswoman, and master engraver Jacqueline Jimmink, who is of Texel descent. She lived and worked in Italy for many years and graduated as an engraver from the Schoonhoven Technical College in 1992. Jacqueline currently resides on Texel, where she has her engraving studio where she creates metal art and preserves and shares knowledge of various endangered crafts such as hand engraving, enameling, chiseling, and copper plating.
