Friday, December 26, 2025, to January 4, 2026 The Francisca Romanakerk is a 19th-century Roman Catholic church in De Cocksdorp on the island of Texel, part of the Diocese of Haarlem-Amsterdam. A small, modest nativity scene is on display here. In the lead-up to the holidays, several locations on Texel offer a special display: a beautifully decorated nativity scene that brings the Christmas story to life in an atmospheric and accessible way. Visitors can pause for a moment, look around, and experience the peace and simplicity of the traditional story. The nativity scenes have been carefully constructed and offer a beautiful place to enjoy the December season. Open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Except on January 4, which is only open to the public after the 11:00 AM service.
