Thursday, December 25, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026 A Texel carpenter crafted this stable in the shape of a Texel sheepfold. This stable has been on display in the church since 1947 and was built in 1936. The background is also special: a canvas depicting a starry sky and angels surrounding the brightly shining Christmas star, by Texel painter Ad Blok van der Velden. In the lead-up to the holidays, several locations on Texel will be displaying a special scene: a beautifully decorated nativity scene that brings the Christmas story to life in an atmospheric and accessible way. Visitors can pause for a moment, look around, and experience the peace and simplicity of the traditional story. The nativity scenes have been carefully constructed and offer a beautiful place to enjoy the December season. From Thursday, December 25, after the 10:00 AM service (after the service).
