Monday, December 15, 2025, through Sunday, January 4, 2026 This neo-Gothic church dates from 1712 and exudes a maritime atmosphere, befitting the fishing village of Oudeschild. The small nativity scene is displayed on the beautiful altar with tile tableaus depicting "The Storm on the Lake" and "The Miraculous Catch of Fish." In the lead-up to the holidays, several locations on Texel offer a special display: a beautifully decorated nativity scene that brings the Christmas story to life in an atmospheric and accessible way. Visitors can pause for a moment, look around, and experience the peace and simplicity of the traditional story. The nativity scenes have been carefully constructed and offer a beautiful place to enjoy the December season. Open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
