During the workshop Sculpting in soapstone you will learn how to work a stone with different tools. Exciting to see how a new shape is created. Soapstone is a relatively soft stone in different colors pink, white, green and black. The workshop can be booked for 4 to 6 people. Age from approx. 6 years. The workshop is given by artist Door Dogger, she is of Texel descent. She lived and worked in Amsterdam on the Westerlijke Eilanden and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 1995. Nowadays Door is on Texel and she creates art from Beachcombers material. She also makes drawings and paintings with a lot of color. Times: Tuesday and Friday from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm.
