Maddogs are back!
Saturday 23 August 2025 After 2 successful participations in the Texelblues and several times Music Meets Texel, the Maddogs are back on the island. This time the tour will take in the beach pavilions of the lovely island. The weather is nice on the calendar so we will be there from 21 to 25 August. The program consists of their own songs and covers from then and now, rooted in the 70s and 80s. For this tour the emphasis is on summer music from Blondie, Bowie and songs with a nod to Texel, such as Sheep, Wild is the wind and Summertime. You can find the Maddogs: Thursday 21 August at Villa 10 (at pole 9 on the beach) Saturday 23 August at the Toegift in De Hoorn (Klif 12) Sunday 24 August at Beach Pavilion Pole 12. Starting at 2:00 PM. Maddogs prefer to play in the sun, but if the weather is bad there is also an indoor area. For the latest information see Insta/Facebook: @maddogsontour. Admission is free.
