Sunday, May 17, 2026 The Frisian troubadour Adri de Boer is returning to De Vermaning in Den Hoorn. Last year, his performance made a great impression on the audience. Therefore, it has been decided to turn this into an annual Frisian-language music afternoon. Adri de Boer sings his own Frisian songs and world hits from the 1960s to the present, translated word for word as much as possible. He introduces the songs in Dutch. He has collaborated with Stef Bos, contributed to Boudewijn de Groot in Frisian, and can regularly be heard on Omrop Fryslân. A wonderful afternoon for everyone who loves music. Location: Hoornder Vermaning, Diek 11a, Den Hoorn Time: 3:00 PM Cost: Voluntary contribution

Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
