Saturday, October 28 to Tuesday, October 31, 2023 - A four-day Workshop NOH - traditional form of Japanese theater, based on a technique handed down through the ages and working according to a script. NOH theater is formalized theater in every sense, combining visual art, theater and music as well as working with the voice. This NOH performance workshop is taught by Ashley Thorpe. The workshop starts on Saturday, October 28, at 11:30 a.m. (so you can arrive on Texel in the morning) and ends with a NOH performance on Tuesday evening in the theater at the Dorpshuis in De Waal. The performance is from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (walk-in from 4:45 p.m.) and costs €5 (including coffee/tea). They offer lunches and a simple meal on all days (included in the price). Costs: The training including meals costs € 400,- (excluding overnight stay).
