Join the Texel Oyster Man on an adventure! During this approximately 2-hour Oyster Tour, Oyster Man Martin Zeeman will show you that oysters, cockles, and periwinkles are there for the taking along the Wadden Sea side of Texel. During the adventurous walk, you will receive an explanation about the oyster, and while enjoying a glass of bubbly, there will naturally be plenty of time for extensive tasting. Please note: this excursion requires a minimum of fifteen people. In the event of too few participants or bad weather, you will be informed at least 2 hours in advance whether the excursion can take place. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed. There are oysters in August, but they are less suitable for consumption. There are other oysters to taste at that time. Start times: from April through October on various days; times depend on the tide. Groups from November through March by arrangement. Costs: adults € 30.00. Children under 18 € 20.00.
