Come to the observatory of De Jager Public Observatory next to Ecomare and admire the starry sky through a telescope! The astronomers are happy to explain what you see. Attention is paid to the moon, meteors, galaxies, star clusters, nebulae and the planet Venus and perhaps Uranus. It will not happen in cloudy weather. Due to the possible crowds, you are expressly requested to register. There are free viewing evenings during the science weekend and the Night of the Night. A short distance outside De Koog in the dunes near paal 17, you will find the nature museum and seal sanctuary Ecomare. seals If you want to see a seal up close, this is possible in Ecomare. The seals are fed at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. During the feeding, everything is told about the seals that live in Ecomare. You can also admire other sea creatures in Ecomare.
