On Wednesday, July 26, children's book author Rosanda Apai-Courtar will visit the library on Drijver Street. Gowtu Boy is author Apai-Courtar's first children's book. The book tells the story of 9-year-old Ferano Virtuous who is reluctant to move from Lelydorp. And then a nasty disease breaks out! Schools are closed and his father can no longer sell food. When Dad and Ferano have to stay home all day, they start cooking. Together they open the neighborhood restaurant "Ferry's Snack. There the people of Abrabroki are only too happy to come and pick up their food. There is a public library on Texel. This is located in Den Burg. Facilities You can use various facilities at the library on Texel. For example, wifi, computers, printing and/or copying facilities for a small fee, work/study places and there is a reading table. For tourists Tourists can borrow books and other materials with the holiday pass. This pass is valid for 4 weeks and you can borrow 10 books at a time. How nice is that!
