Have you always wanted to try mantrailing with your dog? You can on Texel during individual tracking training, a tracking weekend, or a tracking week. Tracking is following a trail. If that trail leads to a person, it's also called mantrailing or tracking. Because every person has their own unique scent, they leave a very specific trail after walking somewhere. Because the dog has a naturally excellent sense of smell, it's able to follow this trail. During tracking lessons, the dog will learn to follow the scent of the person following the trail. The dog's owner will learn to read the dog (recognize certain behavior) and guide it. Every dog can track. Age and breed don't matter.
