Rent a Cadweazle at Camping Kogerstrand The Texel Foundation for the Integration of the Disabled (SIGT) manages a number of (self-propelled) beach wheelchairs available for use at the beach pavilions. It is possible to rent a Cadweazle at Camping Kogerstrand (De Koog). This makes the beach on Texel even more accessible for people with disabilities and the elderly who wish to drive independently along the waterline. Please note: DO NOT drive through the water! Times: daily between 09:00 and 17:00. You book a one-hour time slot. Price: €20.00 per 1 hour (for Strandhopper/Cadweazle). Questions about the wheelchairs? Email info@sigttexel.nl.
