Rent a beach wheelchair at Paal 28
Stichting Integratie Gehandicapten Texel (SIGT) manages a number of (self-driving) beach wheelchairs that can be used at the beach pavilions. At Strandpaviljoen Paal 28 (De Cocksdorp) it is possible to rent a Strandhopper or Cadweazle. This makes the beach of Texel even more accessible for people with disabilities and the elderly who want to drive independently along the tide line. Please note: NOT through the water! Times: daily between 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM. You book a time slot for one hour. Price: €20.00 per 1 hour (for Strandhopper/Cadweazle). Questions about beach wheelchairs? Email info@sigttexel.nl.
