Rent a beach wheelchair at Paal 28

Stichting Integratie Gehandicapten Texel (SIGT) manages a number of (self-driving) beach wheelchairs that can be used at the beach pavilions. At Strandpaviljoen Paal 28 (De Cocksdorp) it is possible to rent a Strandhopper or Cadweazle. This makes the beach of Texel even more accessible for people with disabilities and the elderly who want to drive independently along the tide line. Please note: NOT through the water! Times: daily between 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM. You book a time slot for one hour. Price: €20.00 per 1 hour (for Strandhopper/Cadweazle). Questions about beach wheelchairs? Email info@sigttexel.nl. Perfect für Menschen mit Handicap

Da man den Elektro Strandrollstuhl Catweazle nur online buchen und zahlen kann wäre es praktisch wenn Vorort Informationen per link oder QR Code zugänglich wären. Ansonsten ganz große Klasse das eine Spazierfahrt am Strand entlang der Wasserkante auch für Menschen mit Handicap möglich ist.

fantastisch! Ik had dit niet willen missen

Ik heb vier jaar geleden ook over het strand gereden toen kreeg ik nog uitleg over het voertuig. Dat miste ik nu wel een beetje. En bij aankomst zeiden ze eerst dat de strand hopper niet was opgeladen en dat ik in de Catweazle zou moeten. Gezien mijn handicap. Zou ik daar nooit in kunnen, dus ik baalde eerst wel, maar gelukkig bleek het toch goed te zijn.

das war die perfekte Lösung für meine Mutter (85)

Für meine Mutter (85) war der Strandhopper die perfekte Lösung noch einmal an den Strand und ans Meer zu kommen. Es hat uns allen viel bedeutet diese Möglichkeit nutzen zu können. Die sehr nette Mitarbeiterin des VVV hat und den Tip und den Hinweis auf die Buchung über die Homepage gegeben. Dank nochmal dafür !
