Want to explore Texel? Get on a Texel Cruiser, with sturdy, thick tires and wide handlebars. The Texel Cruiser is an electrically powered chopper (scooter) that allows you to ride around the island in a relaxed and silent way. With the Texel Cruiser you can travel 40 to 50 km, wonderfully comfortable thanks to the hydraulic suspension. Opening hours: Monday to Sunday: 10:00 - 13:00 and 13:00 - 16:30 (per half day). Or from 10:00 - 17:00 (a whole day). Prices: Tuesday to Friday € 40.00 for a half day and € 57.50 for a whole day. In the weekend € 42.50 for a half day or € 60.00 for a whole day. Location
This activity starts at De Vang 33-E, 1792 CV Oudeschild. With the Texelhopper bus you get off at the Vliegwiel stop. By car you can park nearby at approximately 100 meters away.
Important to know
The driver of the Texel Cruiser must be in possession of a driver's license. There is room for one passenger on the back of the scooter, this passenger must be a maximum of 12 years old. Please note that the Texel Cruiser is only WA-insured and insured for accidents of occupants during the trip. In case of damage to the scooter, the costs are for your own account and therefore fall under your own risk. Any damage must be compensated immediately afterwards and can be deducted from the outstanding deposit. Wearing a helmet is mandatory.
