Do you enjoy craft beer? Then a visit to Texelse Bierbrouwerij in Oudeschild is a great addition to your Texel plans. During the Texels Beleving tour, a beer guide takes you into the world of Texel’s speciality beers. You will hear which ingredients the brewers use, how the brewing process works and in which kettles the beers are brewed. The beer guides live up to their name: they are real Texel locals who know a lot about Texel beer. Feel free to ask them anything you want to know about the brewery, the brewing process or the beers. Good to know: the tour is in Dutch. Special German-language tours are also available. After the tour, you taste several beers from Texelse Bierbrouwerij. They taste even better once you know more about the story behind the brewery and the brewing process. At the end, you receive an original Texel souvenir to take home. You can also visit the shop with beer and merchandise. Location: Texelse Bierbrouwerij, Oudeschild Opening hours: The tasting room and shop are open Monday to Friday from 12.00 to 18.00, Saturday from 10.00 to 19.30 and Sunday from 12.00 to 18.00. Where cheese used to be made, the copper brewing kettles now shine. The heart of a brewery where special Texel beer originates. Texel Experience The Texel beer maker takes you into the world of Texel specialty beer. What ingredients do they use, what does the brewing process look like and in which kettles are their beers brewed? You will hear this and more fun facts during the Texels Experience. Beer people live up to their name: real Texel people who know everything about Texel beer. So feel free to ask them what you want to know about our beer! Of course you want to taste Texel beer! After the experience, they introduce you to their beers. They taste even better if you know more about the background of the brewery and the brewing process.
