In this clever, topical, and musical performance, historian, cabaret artist, and podcast maker Tijmen Dokter explores the role of war in our time, with the Second World War in his back pocket. As a passionate storyteller, he jumps back and forth between the present and the past, from the stage to the front and back again. In doing so, he poses the question of what we still need a war from so long ago for today, and whether that history might be closer than ever.
