Sunday, September 19, 2026 The members of Pepervlaay translate and reinterpret Paul McCartney’s masterful melodies: sometimes literally, sometimes freely, but always atmospheric, cheerful, and in harmony. This is not a simple tribute, but a playful reinvention of the work of one of the greatest songwriters of all time—in Dutch. The four-piece band Pepervlaay consists of Sven Kruizinga (vocals/guitar), John Stelck (vocals/guitar), Niels van Hoorn (drums/vocals), and Wiek Rozemond (bass/vocals). Everyone is welcome, voluntary contribution. Starts at 3:00 p.m. (until about 5:00 p.m.)

This church is well hidden: from the road you have no idea that there is a church on Diek. This is due to its history, De Vermaning was built as a hidden church for the Mennonite congregation. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
