A luxury minibus will take you and your group of up to six people on a morning excursion to various bird-rich areas in search of as many bird species as possible. In collaboration with Natuurmonumenten (Dutch Society for Nature Conservation), you'll visit Texel's Bird Boulevard. During this excursion, you'll stop at the best birdwatching spots along the east coast of Texel and take a few short walks. If you spot rare species, you can deviate from the route, after consultation, to search for them. The bird species you can encounter during this excursion are very diverse: geese, ducks, wading birds, meadow birds, gulls, and terns. You'll also encounter migrating songbirds and birds of prey. The species selection varies greatly and depends on the season. Every excursion is different! If you don't have binoculars, you can, of course, borrow them from the center. Registration for this excursion is required. All other excursions: Times: Tuesdays and Saturdays, the excursion starts at 9:30 AM at the Bird Information Centre and ends at 12:30 PM. Cost: €45.00 per person. Payment can be made online via the Bird Information Centre website or prior to the excursion at the Bird Information Centre.
