Birding excursions by minibus along Vogelboulevard
With a luxury minibus you and a maximum of 7 people will set off for a morning to search for as many bird species as possible in various bird-rich areas. In cooperation with Natuurmonumenten you will visit the Bird Boulevard of Texel. During this excursion you will stop at the best birdwatching spots along the east side of Texel and take some short walks. In case of sightings of rare species, we can deviate from the route in consultation to look for this bird. The bird species you can find during this excursion are very diverse; geese, ducks, waders, meadow birds, gulls and terns. But also migratory songbirds and birds of prey. The species palette is very variable and also depends on which season you join. Every excursion is different! If you don't have binoculars yourself, you can of course borrow one from the center. Registration for this excursion is required. Times: on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the excursion starts at 9.30 am at the Vogelinformatiecentrum (Bird Information Center) and ends at 12:30 p.m. Costs: € 45.00 per person. Payment can be made online via the website of the Bird Information Center or in the Vogelinformatiecentrum prior to the excursion.

At the Bird Information Centre in De Cocksdorp you are at the right address for information about bird watching, photography and filming on Texel. You can also go here for binoculars and other bird products. Information about birds In the centre you will find all kinds of information about birds. Such as the most recent sightings of birds on the island. In the centre all current sightings are clearly displayed on a large map. There is also an extensive library with bird books. Beautiful bird films are played on the large LCD TVs. And in the display cases there are many stuffed birds, which you can view up close. Shop and excursions In the Bird Information Centre you will also find a shop with nature conservation articles and binoculars. You can go here for good binoculars from Swarovski, Zeiss and Bynolyt. You will receive extensive advice about these. You are also at the right address for bird DVDs, nature books, nest boxes and feeding systems for your garden.
