Weekend exhibition TXportraits ZOUT Lokaal
Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April 2023 Artists association ZOUT organizes an exhibition portrait drawing and painting from a live model at Kunstlokaal Den Burg. Since the autumn of 2022, every 2 weeks a group of Zout members and some outside participants draw and paint a portrait from a live model. All participants use different techniques and materials. They are mainly concerned with the pleasure of drawing and painting. The results are now shown, in which the great diversity in how the model is represented on the flat surface is particularly striking. Time: 11am to 5pm.

Kunstenaarsvereniging ZOUT
ZOUT is an active artists' association on Texel. The members make art with a touch of ZeeZOUT (Sea salt). Exhibitions At least four times a year there is a retrospective exhibition in the KUNST-Lokaal on the Paelwerck in Den Burg. In addition, artists exhibit every year during the HavenVistijn (the promotion day of the fish) in August. Art route Every year, the artists' association also organizes an art route along several artists' studios.
