No rush is pure luxury! The Jan Plezier operates fixed routes through the Dunes of Texel National Park and provides customized rides for small and large groups, as well as weddings. Experience the island. Nature is beautiful in every season. Listen to the coachman's stories about the island's customs, traditions, history, and rich natural beauty. The ride takes you along the beach, through the dunes, through De Nederlanden, De Muy, and De Slufter. During the Christmas holidays, the Jan Plezier departs at 11:00 AM (except on public holidays and Sundays). The ride includes fresh pea soup with rye bread. With the Jan Plezier Texel you can make a covered wagon tour from De Koog through a number of beautiful nature reserves on Texel. Nature tours through national park “Dunes of Texel” The covered wagon ride takes three hours and during this trip you can enjoy the animals and plants that live in the dune landscape and in the various nature reserves. You can relax and let the Belgian draft horses do the work. Wheelchair is available They have made provisions for the disabled and people in wheelchairs on the covered wagon. For example, an easy step has been made and a fold-out ramp plate. Wheelchairs are also secured.
