During this workshop you will paint in nature and you can choose from beautiful scenic spots on Texel! Locations vary per workshop (think of the beach, the dunes, the forest or a view of a village). The locations are always close to facilities where there are toilets. The exact location will be communicated a few days before the start of the workshop. This depends on the weather forecast. You start the afternoon by making a first sketch, where you determine the composition. You work out your sketch smoothly in paint, paying attention to color, shape and tone. Be inspired by the Impressionists, with a lot of attention to atmosphere, color and the light of the moment. We work with acrylic paint on panel. The group consists of a maximum of 8 participants so that everyone receives ample attention. This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced students. Because we go into nature and sometimes have to walk a bit, it is important that you are mobile. Also take your clothing into account. In bad weather, the workshop will take place in Marleen's studio and we will work from photos. The workshop is given by Marleen Bakker. She is a painter and exhibits her paintings, among others, in Galerie Posthuys in De Koog. Please note: there is a minimum number of participants for this excursion. If there are too few participants or bad weather, you will be told in advance whether the excursion can take place. Minimum age is 14 years.
