Copper Embossing & Chasing Workshop Create your own copper artwork during this creative workshop in Den Burg. You will discover the traditional techniques of copper embossing and chasing: using a hammer and punch, you add relief to copper. A hands-on activity for children, families and creative visitors on Texel. Get creative with copper Craftswoman Jacqueline Jimmink guides you step by step as you create your own design. You start with a sketch and then work in copper. You can choose typical Texel shapes, such as sheep, Eierland Lighthouse, seals, seagulls or boats. At the end of the workshop, you take home a Texel keepsake made by you. For young and old The workshop is suitable from the age of 9. Younger children take part with supervision. If fewer than 4 people sign up, Jacqueline checks in advance whether the workshop takes place. With 1 participant, the workshop lasts 1 hour. With 2 or 3 participants, it lasts 1.5 hours.
