New: Beachclub Texel

A brand new, sustainable beach pavilion will open its doors on 5 July: Beachclub Texel!

Fire and construction

In December 2024, a fire broke out at Beachclub Texel. The pavilion at pole 19.5 could not be saved and the fire brigade let the building burn out in a controlled manner. In spring 2025, the construction of a brand-new, sustainable pavilion began. Its layout remained largely the same, with a conservatory at the front. A hundred solar panels were installed on the roof and many sustainable choices were made.

The opening

5 July 2025 The time has come: the new Beachclub Texel will open its doors. From now on, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, drinks or an extensive dinner here all year round. The pavilion is suitable as a wedding location and is perfect for (company) parties.

On the menu

The menu is island-inspired, with a strong focus on fish, and local produce. From 10am to 12pm, you can go there for breakfast. Choose, for example, a yoghurt and granola bowl, a croissant or scrambled eggs with bacon. Between 12 and 4pm, sandwiches, burgers and soups are served for lunch. You can also opt for shared dining from 12 noon: chicken kebabs, squid rings, loaded fries, a cheese board, a special wild herb salad and more. From 17.30, dinner will be served. You have a choice of, for example, fruits de mer (such as oysters, lobster, cockles and mussels) and main dishes with, for example, Texel lamb or Texel beef. Naturally, vegetarian and children's dishes are also on the menu. The five-course “Ode to the Sea” chef's menu is special

Local products

At the new Beachclub Texel, they like to work with short chains and products from the island. Partners include De Texelse Visspecialist, Novalishoeve and Boschma Slachtbedrijf Texel. A mix of Texel chefs and seasonal staff ensures continuity and creativity.

Want to try it out?

You will find Beachclub Texel at post 19.5 (Ruijslaan 30). You can park at post 20 and walk a little along the beach or the dunepath. Or you can walk from De Koog through the woods and dunes to the pavilion.
