Cheese farm Wezenspyk has been making delicious Texel cheese for more than 35 years. Cheese farmer Anton Witte started making the classic Texel Boerenkaas. Later on, the range was expanded with the famous Texel Sheep Cheese and the delicious Goat Cheese. The cheeses regularly win prizes. In March 2018 Texelse Bierkaas won the Cumlaude Awards. Take a look at the artisanal cheese making, taste the taste of the cheeses in the farm shop and enjoy a cup of coffee, cheese platter or cheese fondue in the Cheese Café. Are you visiting the farm? Then follow the landscape path to the Sheep Museum and learn everything about Texel sheep farming and the history of Texel. Cheese farm Wezenspyk is open from Monday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 5 pm. And on Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm. This also applies to the Sheep Museum. On Mondays, the farm is also on the market in Den Burg from 8 am - 1 pm. Dogs are welcome, provided they are on a leash, around the farm up to the sheep museum and in the cheese café.
