In Museum Waelstee, located in an authentic farmhouse, the emphasis was initially on preserving the history of farm life on Texel. Over the years, the museum continued to expand the exhibition space, depot and workshop. The museum provides a multifaceted picture of life on Texel in the past. Each year, one of the central themes of Arable Farming, Pasture Farming, Flower Bulb Cultivation or Transport is prominently presented in different guises. The museum is open from March to October on Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm. On Sundays and public holidays from 1.30 pm - 5 pm. Closed on Mondays.
