Pure and honest! The chef Aart Wijker and his team prepare dishes from the Texel-French cuisine. With fresh, seasonal products that are purchased as much as possible from Texel producers. For example, the fish is supplied by local fishermen, the pork by Texel pig farmer 'de Hoge Berg' and all dairy by local farmers. Slow food Opduin is a member of the Slow Food Chefs Alliance. Slow Food promotes that food should above all be tasty, pure and fair. That it is prepared according to traditional methods without artificial additives and that it must be produced without damage to the living environment, animal welfare and health.
