Skéépe makes natural wool products from Texel sheep wool. The wool comes from sheep native to Texel and forms the basis for, among other things, wool socks, sheepskins, throws, and the well-known Skéépe Wandelwol. In addition to Wandelwol, Skéépe also offers Texel hiking packages containing carefully selected hiking products for the road. Skéépe Wandelwol is used by many hikers to protect the skin against friction and pressure while hiking. The original Skéépe Wandelwol is available at Kruidvat, Trekpleister, and in various farm shops on Texel. The Wandelwol can also be ordered online via the VVV, Skéépe, and Texelse Producten webshops.
