With us you can enjoy the view and all the goodies that the island offers. Look around you and enjoy nature. A coastal area with its own will and a sea that seems different every day. A beautiful landscape that has something to offer for everyone. With the construction of the new Paal 9, we have taken a step towards reducing our ecological 'footprint'. We have completely abandoned gas, all equipment in the pavilion is electric. Naturally, all our waste flows are separated. The pavilion is heated in winter by means of a pellet stove. When selecting the products for our dishes, we pay attention to the origin. Our ice cream comes from the Novalishoeve, the cheese from the Wezenspyk farm, the fries come from the Hemmer farm and our fish comes from the North Sea. Our beef comes from the Hanenplas nature reserve, which is grazed by our Black-Angus cattle. In collaboration with SBB-Texel and an experienced farmer, all the beef on our menu meets what we call the '4 G's': the cattle are born; grazed, slaughtered and eventually eaten on Texel. The kitchen brigade uses expertise and imagination to process the entire animal from head to tail in the dishes. That is why you will also find fries with stew on the menu in addition to the famous hamburger, 'the steak of the week'. In this way you will receive a varied, honest and sustainable piece of meat from Texel nature.
