A beautiful cycle route of Natuurmonumenten takes you along these special areas. The nearest village is the characteristic town of Oosterend. Many people think this is the most beautiful village on Texel. The picturesque streets, narrow alleys and houses with beautiful old facades make Oosterend popular. A few shops, restaurants and a café provide some lively activity in the village.
