On the east side of the island between the villages of De Waal, Oosterend and Oudeschild, at the cycling junction 59, you will find Farm Camping Spangerland where you can enjoy hospitality, peace, space and beautiful views of the Texel landscape. Young cattle are kept on the farm from 4 months to 14 days before calving, after which they return to the Noorderschorren farm. The Zandkes and Dijkmanshuizen nature reserves are very close by. The Wadden Sea World Heritage is a stone's throw away and offers a different view every time due to the changing cloudy skies and the changes of ebb and flow. Within a few minutes you can cycle to the small surfing beach. The cycle path over the dike takes you past various special nature areas that form an important breeding and foraging place for countless birds. The characteristic village of Oosterend is about 2 kilometers from the campsite. You will find several restaurants and a supermarket. You cycle over the dike in about 4.5 kilometers to the harbor town of Oudeschild.
