Wiltsangh Texel is situated in the countryside, on the edge of the Waalenburg polder and nature reserve. This is centrally located on the island. Cycling and walking paths run through the old polder. The beautiful Waalenburgerdijkje cycle path starts a few hundred metres from Wiltsangh Texel. This cycle path takes you from De Koog, over an old dike around the polder, to Den Burg. The pleasant village centre of the seaside resort of De Koog is 3 kilometres away. Here you will find nice shops, restaurants, bicycle rental companies and supermarkets. The wide North Sea beach is a 10-minute bike ride away. Nature reserves De Nederlanden and De Muy are located in the area.
