What do you do at VVV Texel?

‘As Island Marketer, promoting Texel, the most beautiful island in the Wadden Sea, is of course at the forefront of all my work. With that fact always in mind, everything I do during my job is a celebration. Whether it's arranging an influencer day, filling the agenda on the website, sending out a newsletter for KADO or having a meeting with a Texel entrepreneur. In my work, I am involved in collaborations to put Texel even more on the map. This can be with Texelaars, but also with external organisations, such as the walking association. I like to connect people; communication is key. I haven't worked at the VVV for very long but was immediately welcomed very warmly by my colleagues. It's clear that besides taking our work seriously, we like to have fun. And I happen to really like that too!’

Setting up marketing campaigns, partnerships and making appointments with press/influencers are part of Radna's duties.

Danielle Snowden-Boom

Manager of the Font Office department of VVV Texel is Daniëlle. She makes the rosters and oversees the day-to-day running of the department.

Marie-Christine Pijnenburg

Marie-Christine is a Front Office Employee and answers the phone, emails, apps and social media messages. She also works in the shop regularly.

Afke Jimmink

Afke has been working in the Front Office department since 1997. She informs guests in the shop and online about activities on the island.

Melissa de Vries

As a Front Office employee, Melissa is happy to answer your questions about Texel or accommodations. She has been happily doing this since 2018!
