Location

Den Burg, the 'capital' of the island, is located in the middle of Texel. About half of the Texel residents live there. In the pleasant center there are nice shops, good restaurants and beautiful historic buildings. Every Monday morning you can visit the weekly market on the Groeneplaats in the center. Bed and breakfast Buytengors is quietly located, 450 meters from the center. The spacious rooms are located on the first floor. From Bed & breakfast Buytengors you can cycle to the extensive North Sea beach in 20 minutes.
