Location
Resort de Buteriggel has a unique location on the outer row of dunes of De Koog, on the west side of Texel. You can walk straight onto the extensive beach from your apartment. In 5 minutes you walk into the pleasant village center of the seaside resort. Here you can go shopping, grab a terrace or eat out. De Buteriggel borders the National Park Duinen van Texel, a protected nature reserve that runs along the entire west coast. You can enjoy fantastic cycling and walking. In the immediate vicinity you will find riding schools, museums and an indoor swimming paradise. Due to its central location, De Koog is a great starting point for excursions all over the island.
