Detached holiday home De Fazant is quietly located in the yard of a farmhouse on the east side of Texel and offers a view of an orchard. The characteristic Oosterend is 1 kilometer from your holiday home. The imposing Maartenskerk is the striking center of the village. Around the church you will find picturesque streets, restaurants and a bicycle rental. From your holiday home, you can cycle to the IJzeren Kaap on the Waddendijk (wadden dike) within 10 minutes. The cycle path over the dike takes you past various nature reserves that are an important breeding and foraging place for countless birds. On the way to the fishing village of Oudeschild you will pass a small surf beach.

The farmhouse is a house with chickens, horses, sheep, dogs and cats. The studio of artist Daan van Loenhout is part of the farmhouse. It is possible to participate in painting or modeling lessons. Een fijn huisje, rustig gelegen

De bedstee is leuk maar wel erg warm. Lekkere tuin om in zin of schaduw, of overdekt te zitten.

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche im Fazant. Der Blick in den Obstbaumgarten war zauberhaft. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal.
