Location

De Pelikaan Apartments is located on the edge of the Duinen van Texel National Park, on the west side of Texel. You can walk straight into the forest from your apartment. You can cycle to the wide North Sea beach within 10 minutes. Beautiful cycling and walking routes run through the National Park, which stretches from the southern tip to the lighthouse. There are also several bridle paths in the forest. The seaside resort of De Koog is 2 kilometers away and Den Burg is more than 5 kilometers away. Both villages have a pleasant center with nice shops, terraces and restaurants. There are several attractions in the immediate vicinity of De Pelikaan, such as museums, riding stables and an indoor swimming paradise.

Appartement 044 is niet aan te raden

Het appartement 044 is niet aan te raden, want er 2 bedden van 70 Breed. je kunt dit vergelijken met een veldbedje. Wij hebben dan ook ons beklag gedaan bij de receptie en zij hebben netjes gezorgd dat wij een ander appartement kregen en dit voldeed wel goed aan de eisen die je mag stellen aan een vakantieappartement op Texel bij Van der Valk hotel. Verder was het eten in het restaurant fantastisch en ook de bediening krijgt van ons een pluim.

Ligging is prima ten opzichte van het strand en De Koog met z'n voorzieningen. Appartement prima, goed ingericht en mooie badkamer. Komen hier al een paar jaar en volgend jaar ook weer in de planning.
