The thatched farmhouse De Florijn is quietly located in the former fishing village East on the Wadden side of Texel. De Florijn has 4 lodges. This quiet side of the island offers many opportunities for cyclists and walkers. Bird watchers also like to be in this area. The dike is about 500 meters away, with the Wadden Sea behind it, where countless birds nest and forage. The Vogelboulevard, with special bird reserves, is located within the dikes. The picturesque village of Oosterend is 2 kilometers away. In the beautiful streets there are various monumental buildings with beautiful facades. You will also find some restaurants and a supermarket.

Prachtige appartement, heerlijk verblijf.

De schoonmaak liet te wensen over: boven chips onder het bed, veel stof onder het bed. Dat hebben we zelf schoon gemaakt. Voor de prijs van het appartement zou je verwachten dat dit niet aan de orde was. Ook was de vloerverwarming op hol geslagen, 27,5 graden. De 1e nacht daardoor erg slecht kunnen slapen. Het werd de volgende de dag, na 2x een monteur langs geweest te zijn, wel opgelost gelukkig.

Mooi en schoon huisje, maar de bedden is wel een dingetje. Net of je op soort rubber ligt met dun laken erop. Vreselijk warm en ligt niet prettig. Snap dat het om de hygiëne gaat, maar leg er goede moltons op en deze kan je wassen op 90 graden.
